What is Northwest Regional RC&D

Northwest Regional Resource Conservation and Development

Resource Conservation and Development is a unique program that helps people care for and protect their natural resources in a way that will improve the area’s economy, environment, and living standards. To carry out this concept, diverse groups of local volunteers are brought together in a unique partnership to find solutions to their problems.

Local people are best able to determine needs and create solutions for their community. The strength of RC&D is in the commitment of the people to solve their own problems.
