Northwest Regional Resource Conservation and Development

The Northwest Regional RC&D is a locally led, non-profit, rural development organization covering Flathead, Lake, Lincoln, and Sanders counties in Northwestern Montana.

The RC&D Program combines people, rural development needs, opportunities, and solutions. RC&D provides a vehicle for dealing with many rural issues through citizen participation. It is as much a way of doing things - a process - as it is a program. The Northwest Regional RC&D works toward accomplishing what is planned and agreed upon by local citizens in Northwestern Montana. Many dedicated volunteers make RC&D successful. Local people work together to set goals and priorities, select projects and take action. The Northwest Regional RC&D is one of eight RC&D's in Montana and 375 in the nation. RC&D's are located in all 50 states and U.S. Territories.
